Effect of Dietary Tetramethylpyrazine on Egg Production, Nutrient Retention and Cecal Bacterial Diversity in Aged Laying Hens

چکیده

This study aimed to investigate the effect of tetramethylpyrazine (TMP) supplementation on egg production, nutrient retention and cecal microbiota diversity using 288 commercial Hy-Line brown hens as wk 75 86. Four treatments consisted TMP addition at 0 (control, basal diet), 100, 150 200 mg/kg diet. The results showed that diets supplemented with improved egg-laying rate 77 compared control, which led an increase (p<0.001) mass by 97-225 g/hen throughout whole trial, a linear (p=0.003) incremental doses was found. At 86, apparent digestibilities dry matter crude protein were enhanced (p<0.05), exhibiting consistent increases (p≤0.033) doses. However, did not cause alpha beta microbiota. suggest can be additive improve production digestibility aged laying hens.

Effect of dietary protein sources on production performance, egg quality, and plasma parameters of laying hens

OBJECTIVE This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of dietary protein sources (soybean meal, SBM; low-gossypol cottonseed meal, LCSM; double-zero rapeseed meal, DRM) on laying performance, egg quality, and plasma parameters of laying hens. METHODS A total of 432 32-wk-old laying hens were randomly divided into 6 treatments with 6 replicates of 12 birds each. The birds were fed diets c...

Effect of supplementation of two different sources of phytase on egg production parameters in laying hens and nutrient digestiblity.

Hens were fed corn-soybean meal diets containing 0.35, 0.25, 0.15, or 0.10% nonphytate phosphorus (NPP) (40 to 60 wk). Phytases A and B were added at 0.25, 0.15, and 0.10% at 250 to 300 units of phytase (FTU)/kg feed in a 3 x 3 factorial; 0.35% was a control diet. Treatments were replicated with eight cages per treatment (five hens per cage) in a randomized complete block design. Phytase supple...

Effects of Dietary Marine Algae (Spirulina platensis) on Egg Quality and Production Performance of Laying Hens

In this experiment, a total of 128 Hy-line W36 hens at 63 weeks of age were used. The hens were put at random into 4 treatment groups (4 replicates and 32 hens per treatment) and were fed four different diets: three diets with different levels of Spirulina (1.5, 2.0 and 2.5%) and one control group based on wheat and soybean meal. All birds were housed in commercial cages, had ad libitum access ...

Effects of dietary supplementation of quercetin on performance, egg quality, cecal microflora populations, and antioxidant status in laying hens.

Plant polyphenols, especially flavonoids, are of great interest due to their wide range of biological activities. Quercetin, a ubiquitous flavonoid, is known to have antioxidant and antibacterial effects. In this study, we investigated the effect of quercetin on performance, egg quality, cecal microflora populations, and antioxidant status in laying hens. Two hundred forty 28-wk-old Hessian lay...

effect of dietary crude protein and methionine on egg production and egg quality of laying hens during phase ii

an experiment was conducted to evaluate the effect of dietary crude protein and methionine levels on quality and quantity of egg production. fifteen diets formulated with 3 levels of protein (13, 14 and 15%) and 5 levels of methionine (0.25, 0.28, 0.31, 0.34 and 0.37%) and fed to 420 birds in a 3×5 factorial arrangement. each diet was randomly fed to 4 replicates of 7 birds each and fed for 3 p...
